Mr. Benjamin Bentil is an agronomist, agribusiness consultant and the CEO of savanna Agroindustrial Company Limited. He holds an MSc. In Post-Harvest Technology and currently pursuing a PHD Programme in Post-Harvest Technology at the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. Mr. Benjamin for the past twenty years has served in various capacities in Ghana’s cassava industry providing technical backstopping, consultancy services, commercial plantation establishment, management, supervision, maintenance, recruitment, development of business plans, etc all geared towards the commercialization and industrialization of the cassava industry. He also provides technical support in the areas of processing technology identification, price or contract negotiation, plant brokerage, inspection of plant, farm equipment purchases, etc to existing and emerging cassava and sweet potato business locally and internationally. He also serves as the Technical Director to Cassava Industry LDA a Portuguese Bioplastic manufacturing company using cassava starch, a technical consultant to Twin Rock Company Ltd cassava starch project, Pitiku Farms Ltd.’s High Quality Cassava Flour and plantation development project and a number of emerging agribusinesses. In addition to the above, Mr. Bentil also serves as the technical advisor on the Amantin Agro Processing Ltd and Central Sugars
