Irene Sackey is a Business Development Strategist, who is passionate about Food Security in Africa and value addition to the Agricultural sector. She has successfully identified and facilitated partnerships with Financial Institutions, Government Agencies, prominent organizations across West Africa to promote the Agricultural value chain. As the former International Business Director at TIAST Group, Irene’s leadership facilitated a number of Agro-processing projects that will engage massive communal plantation development, create jobs, satisfy local food demands and promote export. She is a proud alumnus of the University of Ghana with a first-class Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French. Irene is multilingual, and she pursued two diplomas in French Language at University Felix Houphouët-Boigny, Ivory Coast and University Abomey Calavi, Benin. She speaks fluent French and English, basic Chinese and Spanish as well as four Ghanaian dilects. She aspires to become a key player in transforming the economy of her country Ghana and Africa, and believes that developing the Agricultural sector through Industrialization is the best way to start.
